Our Story

My name is Giovanni Angioni, and my journey with my beloved Dachshund, Woody, has been nothing short of an adventure.

Our Journey Begins

Woody and I have been exploring the world together for the past 14 years, and our adventures have inspired me to create The Nomad Paws. I hope this platform becomes your go-to resource for all things related to traveling with your furry companions.

Our story began in beautiful Estonia, where Woody and I first started our journey together. From the picturesque streets of Tallinn to the serene forests and lakes, Estonia was the perfect backdrop for our early adventures. However, our wanderlust couldn’t be contained, and we soon found ourselves traveling beyond Estonia’s borders.

Travels Across Europe

Our travels took us across various countries, each with its own unique charm and challenges.

We ventured into Russia, exploring its vast landscapes and rich history. Lithuania welcomed us with its stunning countryside and warm hospitality. The Netherlands offered us picturesque canals and vibrant city life, while Italy’s breathtaking scenery and delicious cuisine were unforgettable.

Living in Malta was a delightful experience, with its sunny beaches and crystal-clear waters. Eventually, we made our way to London, UK, where the bustling city life provided us with new experiences and opportunities. Each destination brought new adventures and cherished memories, but it also came with its own set of challenges.

The Struggles of Pet Travel

Traveling with Woody has been incredibly rewarding, but it hasn’t always been easy. We struggled to understand the various requirements and regulations for pet travel in each country.

From health checks to documentation, the process was often confusing and stressful. I spent countless hours researching and preparing to ensure Woody’s safety and comfort during our travels.

Finding reliable services and products was another challenge. The market is flooded with options, but not all of them are trustworthy or effective. I quickly realized that other pet owners likely faced the same difficulties, and I wanted to create a resource to make their journeys smoother and more enjoyable.
